Washing Tires For The Coast Guard in D.C.
The new $435-million Coast Guard Headquarters began construction last month in Washington, D.C. on a 176 acre site. It’s scheduled for completion in 2016, and Clark Construction of Bethesda, Maryland, was awarded to be the general contractor.
With an anticipated 1,000 trucks coming on-site and leaving each day, concern was raised about the amount of mud they’d be laying on the city streets and Stanton Systems was selected to supply a Tire Wash, based on its experience with large High Profile Projects.
The Stanton Wash System is currently in place to remove the mud from the trucks before they go out on to the public streets. |
